My name is Alfred Paschek. I held a chanter in my hands for the first time in 2001. In the years that followed, the instruments were put aside several times – sometimes for years. Retired. Sold. But they always came back. Why? Perhaps because a small, archaic convolution kept calling for them. I hope they stay now.
